Oracle Enhances Solaris Operating System

AS part of its integrated applications-to-disk technology stack strategy,Oracle has announced Oracle Solaris 10 9/10,Oracle Solaris Cluster 3.3, and Oracle Solaris Studio 12.2.

The Oracle Solaris 10 9/10 operating systen update features improved netwroking,performance, and virtualization capabilities and includes updates to the Oracle Solaris ZFS file system.Oracle Solaris 10 9/10 preserves full compatibility with more than 11,000 third-party products and customer applications and is designed to leverage systems based on the latest SPARC and x86 architectures.

Oracle Solaris Cluster 3.3,a multisystem,multisite disaster recovery solution,enables virtual application clusters via Oracle Solaris Containers in Oracle Solaris Cluster Geographic Edition.Its Integrates with Oracle Weblogic Server,Oracle Siebel Customer Relationship Management,MySql Clusters,and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g and uses the Oracle Solaris Trusted Extensions feature for security.
